Gah. I so want to be the type of cool girl that likes this book. I can intellectually understand why it has the following it does. It’s probably because I don’t have any nostalgia for video games that this book just didn’t hit for me. It was like listening to The Martian’s rants about math and space observations, while living inside the mind of a dumb dude … like totally fine, but also it’s a book written by a man, for mostly men, on a topic particularly nostalgic for men 🤷‍♀️
