Okay close to a 5 star read but I’m being stingy. IMO, this read like a YA novel. The world building & scene setting felt flat. At one point there was a battle, and it had the same vibe as a high stakes game of capture the flag. With that said, the plot definitely ramps up & I felt myself pulled in for the last 1/3 of the book.
